Our range of services

CMS Development services

The work this service covers, and what each part of it means in practice.

  1. Custom CMS development

A content model and editing experience built around how your team actually publishes, rather than a stock template.

  2. CMS theme and template development

Templates built for your content types, with the editing controls an editor needs and none they do not.

  3. CMS customization

Existing sites extended with new post types, fields, workflows, roles and admin screens.

  4. CMS integration

The CMS connected to CRM, ERP, marketing automation, payment and other systems, with the sync tested.

  5. CMS migration

Content, media, users and URLs moved to a new CMS with redirects mapped so search results keep working.

  6. CMS support and maintenance

Updates, security patching, backups and small changes after launch.

Why ByteWeb

Why teams stay with us

Four things that decide how a project runs here, and all four are checkable.

  1. One in-house team

Design, development and QA are on the payroll in one office in Vadodara. Nothing is passed to a vendor, and the people you meet first are the people who build it.

  2. Platform-neutral advice

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Laravel or headless, chosen for the job. That includes telling you when you do not need the thing you asked us to quote for.

  3. We keep what we build

Most of the relationship happens after launch: updates, security, performance and the next round of work. Everyone here maintains something they built.

  4. Certified and documented

ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. An NDA before the detail, IP assigned to you, and decisions and handover written down rather than remembered.

Our approach

How a project runs

Seven stages, the same on every project. What changes is how long each one takes and who from your side is in the room.

  1. Stage

    Discover

We learn about the business, its audience, the requirements and what is already in place.

  2. Stage

    Define

Together we agree the scope, sitemap, technical approach and delivery plan.

  3. Stage

    Design

We work through user journeys, wireframes and responsive interface design.

  4. Stage

    Develop

We build reusable components and connect the CMS, store and any third-party services.

  5. Stage

    Test

We check functionality, devices, browsers, accessibility and performance before launch.

  6. Stage

    Launch

We handle content migration, redirects, analytics and the production release.

  7. Stage

    Support

After launch we stay on for maintenance, fixes and further development where needed.

Platforms

What we build on

We are not tied to one platform. The right one depends on who runs the site, what it has to do and what it has to connect to.

  • WordPress

Custom WordPress themes and block editor builds, headless WordPress, migrations to WordPress and ongoing care for business websites.

    • Custom block themes
    • Block editor development
    • Plugin development
    • Multilingual websites
  • Webflow

Marketing websites designed and built in Webflow, with responsive layouts, interactions and CMS collections your team can edit without a developer.

    • Webflow site design
    • Responsive build and interactions
    • CMS collections
    • Migration to Webflow

Hiring model

Ways to work with us

Four ways to staff the work. Which one fits depends on how settled the scope is and how long the work runs.

  • Rapid POC

A working prototype of the risky part, built before the full project is committed.

Best forValidating an idea, or settling a technical question before scoping a build.

  • Fixed Scope

An agreed scope, timeline and price, delivered by a team put together for it and released at the end.

Best forBuilds, redesigns and migrations where the requirements are already settled.

  • Dedicated Team

A group of developers and designers with a project lead, assigned to your account and working from your backlog.

Best forLong-running roadmaps where priorities change between sprints.

  • Staff Augmentation

Individual developers or designers joining your team, your process and your standups.

Best forTeams that need a specific skill for a while without hiring for it.

Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing before work starts, and the same team stays with the project from kickoff to handover.

  • and 9 more

The sector matters less than the job. If yours is not here, the work is the same: ask us.

Questions we get before a project starts.

If yours is not here, ask. We answer with what we would actually do, not with a brochure.

Ask us anything

Which content management systems do you work with?

WordPress and WooCommerce, Webflow, Laravel-based systems, and headless platforms. We recommend one after discovery rather than before it.

Can you move us off our current CMS?

Yes. We map the content model to the new system, migrate content and media, and set up redirects so existing URLs keep working.

Will our team be able to edit the site?

That is what the build is for. Editors get the fields and controls their pages need, and we run a handover session and leave documentation.

How much does a website or online store cost?

Cost depends on the number of page templates, custom functionality, integrations, content migration and how much design work is involved. After we understand the requirements we send a proposal with scope, timeline and cost, so the price reflects your project rather than a fixed package.

How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on scope, how ready the content is and how quickly feedback comes back. The proposal includes a delivery plan with stages and review points, so you know the schedule before work starts.
