Hire developers

Add people who have shipped this before.

Developers and designers from our own team in Vadodara, working in your repository, your board and your standups. Not a marketplace, and not someone we found once you signed.

Roles

Who you can add

Each role is a person from the same in-house team that delivers our projects.

Engagement models

ModelHow it worksBest for
Rapid POCA working prototype of the risky part, built before the full project is committed.Validating an idea, or settling a technical question before scoping a build.
Fixed ScopeAn agreed scope, timeline and price, delivered by a team put together for it and released at the end.Builds, redesigns and migrations where the requirements are already settled.
Dedicated TeamA group of developers and designers with a project lead, assigned to your account and working from your backlog.Long-running roadmaps where priorities change between sprints.
Staff AugmentationIndividual developers or designers joining your team, your process and your standups.Teams that need a specific skill for a while without hiring for it.

How it works

The arrangement, in plain terms

Four ways to staff the work. Rates, notice and start dates are agreed in writing before anyone begins.

  • You keep the backlog

Priorities are yours. The developer works from your board and your definition of done, not from a parallel plan we invented.

  • They sit in our office

On our payroll in Vadodara, beside the designers, QA and leads they can ask. You get the team behind the person.

  • Your tools, your process

Your repository, your environments, your standups and your review process. Access and working hours are agreed before day one.

  • Written down, not remembered

Scope, hours, access and handover are agreed in writing, and what the person built stays documented when the engagement ends.

Scope, timeline and price are agreed in writing before work starts, and the same team stays with the project from kickoff to handover.

How hiring works

From first call to first commit

Five steps. No stage of it happens without you, and none of it starts before the scope and the access are agreed in writing.

  1. Tell us what you need

The skills, the stack, the hours and the length of the engagement. If a project would serve you better than a person, we will say so here rather than after you have signed.

  2. We propose the people

Profiles from our own team, with what each has actually built. Nobody is recruited for you after the fact and presented as bench.

  3. You interview them

You speak to the people who would do the work and decide. A person you did not approve does not join your project.

  4. Access, scope and kickoff

Repository, environments, board, working hours and the definition of done, agreed in writing. Then a kickoff with your team, not an email introduction.

  5. Sprints, reviews and continuity

They work from your backlog in your process. Code is reviewed in-house as well as by you, and what they build stays documented, so a handover is never a reconstruction.

The alternatives

Against a freelancer or a direct hire

All three can work. They differ in who carries the risk when somebody leaves, who reviews the code, and what happens when the work stops.

Why ByteWeb

Why teams stay with us

Four things that decide how a project runs here, and all four are checkable.

  1. One in-house team

Design, development and QA are on the payroll in one office in Vadodara. Nothing is passed to a vendor, and the people you meet first are the people who build it.

  2. Platform-neutral advice

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Laravel or headless, chosen for the job. That includes telling you when you do not need the thing you asked us to quote for.

  3. We keep what we build

Most of the relationship happens after launch: updates, security, performance and the next round of work. Everyone here maintains something they built.

  4. Certified and documented

ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. An NDA before the detail, IP assigned to you, and decisions and handover written down rather than remembered.

Our approach

How a project runs

Seven stages, the same on every project. What changes is how long each one takes and who from your side is in the room.

  1. Stage

    Discover

We learn about the business, its audience, the requirements and what is already in place.

  2. Stage

    Define

Together we agree the scope, sitemap, technical approach and delivery plan.

  3. Stage

    Design

We work through user journeys, wireframes and responsive interface design.

  4. Stage

    Develop

We build reusable components and connect the CMS, store and any third-party services.

  5. Stage

    Test

We check functionality, devices, browsers, accessibility and performance before launch.

  6. Stage

    Launch

We handle content migration, redirects, analytics and the production release.

  7. Stage

    Support

After launch we stay on for maintenance, fixes and further development where needed.

Questions we get before a project starts.

If yours is not here, ask. We answer with what we would actually do, not with a brochure.

Ask us anything

Can we interview the developer before they start?

Yes, and we would rather you did. You speak to the people who would do the work and decide. Someone you did not approve does not join your project.

What happens if it is not working out?

Tell us early. We will replace the person from the same team, with a handover so the work does not restart from nothing, or we end the engagement on the notice agreed in the contract.

Can we scale up or down?

Yes. Adding a skill for a sprint or dropping back to one person is a change to the engagement, agreed in writing before it takes effect rather than applied to the next invoice as a surprise.

Who owns the code they write?

You do. IP is assigned to you, the work lives in your repository from day one, and access, accounts and documentation are handed over at the end.

Which hours do they work?

Agreed before the engagement starts, including how much overlap there is with your working day. We put it in the contract rather than leaving it to be discovered.

Do we manage them, or do you?

You set the priorities and the definition of done. We handle employment, code review, leave cover and the career side, which is the part you should not have to carry.

How much does a website or online store cost?

Cost depends on the number of page templates, custom functionality, integrations, content migration and how much design work is involved. After we understand the requirements we send a proposal with scope, timeline and cost, so the price reflects your project rather than a fixed package.

How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on scope, how ready the content is and how quickly feedback comes back. The proposal includes a delivery plan with stages and review points, so you know the schedule before work starts.
