Platforms

Five platforms. One honest recommendation.

We are not tied to one of them, which is the only way the recommendation is worth anything. The right platform depends on who runs the site, what it has to do and what it has to connect to.

Why ByteWeb

Why teams stay with us

Four things that decide how a project runs here, and all four are checkable.

  1. One in-house team

Design, development and QA are on the payroll in one office in Vadodara. Nothing is passed to a vendor, and the people you meet first are the people who build it.

  2. Platform-neutral advice

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Laravel or headless, chosen for the job. That includes telling you when you do not need the thing you asked us to quote for.

  3. We keep what we build

Most of the relationship happens after launch: updates, security, performance and the next round of work. Everyone here maintains something they built.

  4. Certified and documented

ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certified. An NDA before the detail, IP assigned to you, and decisions and handover written down rather than remembered.

Services

What we deliver on them

Seven services, and most projects use more than one of them.

  • Web Design & Development

Corporate and custom websites planned, designed and built as one project, so the design you approve is the site that goes live.

    • Sitemap and content structure
    • Responsive interface design
    • Custom theme or component development
  • UI/UX Design

Research, information architecture, wireframes and interface design for websites and online stores, handed over as components developers can build from.

    • Stakeholder and user research
    • Information architecture
    • Wireframes and prototypes
  • CMS Development

Content management set up around the way your team publishes, with structured content, clear roles and editing screens that don't need a developer for every change.

    • Content modeling
    • Custom blocks and page templates
    • Roles, workflows and permissions
  • Headless CMS Development

Headless WordPress and API-first CMS builds with static or server-rendered front ends, for sites that need tighter control over speed and presentation.

    • Content API design
    • Astro and React front ends
    • Editorial previews
  • eCommerce Development

Shopify, Shopify Plus and WooCommerce stores built around your catalog, checkout, payments, shipping and the systems your business already runs on.

    • Store UX and theme design
    • Custom theme development
    • Payments, shipping and tax setup
  • Website Performance Optimization

Diagnosis and fixes for slow pages and failing Core Web Vitals, covering images, scripts, fonts, caching, hosting and theme code.

    • Core Web Vitals audit
    • Image and font optimization
    • Third-party script review
  • Website Maintenance & Support

Updates, backups, security monitoring, fixes and small improvements for WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow and Laravel sites, handled by developers who know the platform.

    • Core, theme and plugin updates
    • Backups and security monitoring
    • Bug fixes and content changes

Our approach

How a project runs

Seven stages, the same on every project. What changes is how long each one takes and who from your side is in the room.

  1. Stage

    Discover

We learn about the business, its audience, the requirements and what is already in place.

  2. Stage

    Define

Together we agree the scope, sitemap, technical approach and delivery plan.

  3. Stage

    Design

We work through user journeys, wireframes and responsive interface design.

  4. Stage

    Develop

We build reusable components and connect the CMS, store and any third-party services.

  5. Stage

    Test

We check functionality, devices, browsers, accessibility and performance before launch.

  6. Stage

    Launch

We handle content migration, redirects, analytics and the production release.

  7. Stage

    Support

After launch we stay on for maintenance, fixes and further development where needed.

Questions we get before a project starts.

If yours is not here, ask. We answer with what we would actually do, not with a brochure.

Ask us anything

Which platform should we choose: WordPress, Shopify, Webflow or WooCommerce?

It depends on who will run the site and what it needs to do. WordPress suits content-led websites with many pages and editors. Shopify suits stores that want a managed platform with less upkeep. WooCommerce suits stores that sit alongside WordPress content or need custom store logic. Webflow suits marketing sites that a small team edits. Laravel suits portals and web applications. We recommend one after the discovery stage.

What does ByteWeb do?

ByteWeb designs, develops and supports websites, CMS platforms and online stores. Most of our work is on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Webflow, Laravel and headless CMS, covering new builds, redesigns, migrations, performance work and ongoing maintenance.

How much does a website or online store cost?

Cost depends on the number of page templates, custom functionality, integrations, content migration and how much design work is involved. After we understand the requirements we send a proposal with scope, timeline and cost, so the price reflects your project rather than a fixed package.

How long does a project take?

Timelines depend on scope, how ready the content is and how quickly feedback comes back. The proposal includes a delivery plan with stages and review points, so you know the schedule before work starts.
